Martin Brower is the exclusive supply chain partner for McDonald’s, responsible for the storage and distribution of all products used in their restaurants.
The warehouse operation is structured across three key temperature-controlled zones: Dry Goods, Chiller, and Freezer. New team members begin in the Dry Goods area and are progressively trained to work in the Chiller section.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficient and accurate picking of store orders using Voice Picking (Vocollect) and RF Scanning technologies, with items stacked onto Material Handling Equipment (primarily Crown Walk-Behinds and Pallet Riders)
- Picking of cleaning, dry, chilled, and frozen products
- Receiving and storing goods
- Stock rotation and inventory management
- Loading outbound trucks and handling incoming deliveries
- Adhere to all safety protocols and promote a safe working environment in compliance with company policies and relevant workplace legislation.
- Demonstrate a proactive attitude toward customer service and a continuous improvement mindset across all tasks.
Key Requirements:
- Voice Picking and RF Scanning Experience: Prior experience with voice picking systems, particularly Vocollect, is highly regarded. Familiarity with RF scanning technology is also strongly preferred.
- Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Operation: Experience operating Crown Pallet Riders and Walk-Behind equipment is highly valued, as all MHE on-site is Crown-branded. However, candidates with general MHE experience will also be considered.
- Physical Capability: The role involves repetitive manual handling and may require lifting items weighing up to 20 kg
